# About

ChinaQueue is an independent, observational tracker of China's power buildout — the
generation and storage pipeline across solar, wind, coal, gas, nuclear, hydro, and
pumped storage, project by project and down to the province.

It is a sibling to **ERCOT Queue**, which tracks the Texas interconnection pipeline,
and shares its standards: evidence before effect, visible precision, and a neutral
operating-desk voice.

Built by Matt Prusak. Data from Global Energy Monitor's Global Integrated Power
Tracker (CC BY 4.0), the National Energy Administration (NEA), and curated release
figures (CREA / Global Energy Monitor, Ember, and official compute-hub documents from
NDRC, MIIT and the National Data Administration). This is not investment advice;
project-level figures are research-grade, not official filings.

## Boundaries

- Pipeline/prospective capacity is development activity, not a supply forecast.
- Absorption gap, curtailment, and CREA/GEM release figures are curated research
  with explicit provenance.
- Fleet counts are a lower-bound project-level subset of the real grid.
